The Company

Davinci Micro Fulfillment is a technology platform combined with a physical network of micro-fulfillment centers (MFCs) that enables retailers and eCommerce brands to fulfill orders with speed and precision. MFCs are small, hyper-local warehouses each under 50,000 square feet that use AI/ML to guide storage, route orders, and ship product closer to the end customer. The result is a distributed inventory model that reaches most major U.S. population centers with next-day and two-day delivery, at a fraction of the footprint and labor of traditional third party logistics providers.

Davinci’s platform spans the full order lifecycle including a brand’s network footprint, flexible inventory segmentation, market-basket assortment building, order orchestration, and carrier selection all designed to give an Amazon Prime-like delivery experience for any marketplace. The company is one of a handful of fulfillment partners with purpose-built distributed footprint of smaller high-efficient warehouses with the technology to deliver that experience at scale.

Davinci was founded in 2020 by Corey Apirian, a two-time exited founder who was Amazon’s first dropship partner in 2004 and later built several $100M e-commerce brands Davinci’s team is led by industry experience spanning 75 combined years of eCommerce experience.

The Partnership

Davinci Micro Fulfillment was founded in 2021 by Corey Apirian, who spent more than 15 years in senior supply chain and operations roles before building the company around a problem he had watched brands struggle with repeatedly: products designed for brick-and-mortar shelves being sold into e-commerce channels through fulfillment networks never built for them, producing lost sales from stockouts, long lead times, and unsustainable pick, pack, and parcel costs. The Company operates a network of micro-fulfillment centers, each 50,000 square feet or less, positioned to reach any U.S. zip code in two days or less, paired with proprietary network optimization and order orchestration technology that uses AI to place inventory where demand will actually appear. The result is an end-to-end, technology-enabled service spanning merchandising, inventory placement, and fulfillment.

Topmark was introduced to Davinci by a trusted partner. Topmark’s prior investment experience across technology-enabled services and supply chain software, together with the firm’s history of partnering with founder-led companies at the point of network scaling, enabled the team to build a trusted relationship with Davinci’s management. Topmark is collaborating closely with management on board development, financing, risk management, and growth guidance.

Topmark led the Series A round for Davinci Micro Fulfillment. Davinci continues to expand its footprint and commercial partnerships, including a recently launched Walmart Marketplace integration, as retailers and brands increasingly treat delivery speed as a requirement rather than an upgrade.

Topmark’s experience partnering with B2B software companies that sell into franchise and multi-unit end markets, combined with the firm’s track record supporting vertical SaaS businesses through periods of rapid scaling, enabled the team to build a trusted relationship with Eulerity’s founders.  Topmark led Eulerity’s Series A round. Eulerity continues to benefit from a highly recurring revenue model as multi-location brands consolidate fragmented point solutions and adopt AI-native marketing infrastructure.

The team at Topmark has spent more than 25 years actively investing in and supporting the ecosystems in the Southeast United States. Case Status and Topmark were initially introduced through a proprietary relationship cultivated as a result of Topmark’s longstanding market presence in the region.  In addition, Topmark’s previous investment experience in the legal technology industry and historical success partnering with B2B software companies enabled the firm to build a trusted relationship with the team at Case Status. Topmark ultimately partnered with Scottsdale, AZ-based Grayhawk to co-lead Case Status’ Series A round.
