The Partnership
The management team is led by Scott Moody, co-founder of AuthenTec, Inc. which experienced tremendous growth, went public in 2007, and was subsequently acquired by Apple, Inc. in 2012. AuthenTec remains the only public company ever acquired by Apple and its technology is now the TouchID. The Topmark team has established a strong relationship with Scott, beginning with our investment in AuthenTec in 1999. Topmark worked closely with management to provide guidance early in the company’s lifecycle as they initially developed their business model and go-to-market strategy and has continued to serve K4Connect as an active and collaborative board member.
