VectorLearning provides online education for professionals in a myriad of industries. The company owns and manages an online course library specializing in continuing education, certification, licensing exam preparation and corporate training. All courses are designed to meet state board and professional organization requirements.
The Partnership
VectorLearning was led by Tom Wallace, who has a proven track record of building, scaling, and successfully exiting high growth technology businesses. Prior to Topmark’s investment, we established a relationship with Tom Wallace over the course of many years. Topmark was attracted by the company’s large customer base and the increasing demand for eLearning platforms. Topmark led the Series B and Series C financings and played an active and collaborative role as a board member. We collaborated with management on a wide range of issues, including acquisition strategy, corporate strategy, and finance.
Topmark invested in VectorLearning through a legacy fund and exited its investment when LLR Partners acquired a controlling interest in 2011.
